The cost of car detailing depends on the size of your vehicle and the service you agree to, as we outline: 
1. Size: Many car detailers group sizes into four categories - Small (compact or hatchback), Medium (small sedan or coupe), Large (large sedan or station wagon) and Extra large (4WD or van). 
2. Service: Car detailing services range from a standard wash to deep scratch removal. Popular services include:

Pricing
  • A basic car detailing service will cost around $150 to $200 for a standard-sized car, which thoroughly cleans your car outside and inside.
  • Generally, an Exterior Clean will be around $100 and an Interior Clean will be around $75.
  • Optional services, such as seat and floor mat shampooing, engine cleans and leather polish, won't be included in a standard package. These will cost around $50 to $100 each, depending on your vehicle size.
  • Before agreeing to any detailing service, ask if the price includes GST. Many companies pay for car detailing and GST is less relevant to them. Having a GST-inclusive quote is important if you're paying for it out of your own pocket.
