How Much Does a Chiropractor Charge?

There are a variety of fees to consider when budgeting for your chiropractic visits. If you have been in an accident, your Chiropractor will assess you to determine if you qualify for Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). ACC fees are typically lower than standard visits. Prices for students and seniors may also be lower. 
  • New patient consultations average $80 per regular visit and $50 for ACC. However, some Chiropractors offer free consultations for new patients with their first adjustment. 
  • Some chiropractors require x-rays for all new patients and some only for severe conditions. X-rays average around $120.
  • Ongoing adjustments average between $50 and $60 per regular visit and are around $35 for ACC. Be sure to inquire about discounted pre-payment plans. 
  • Some Chiropractors have complementary practitioners that they work with, such as a massage therapist or acupuncturist, which will add to your expense.
