Choosing the Right Voyager Plan - ADSL/VDSL Broadband vs Fibre Broadband vs FibreMax Broadband Plans
Voyager's broadband plans share many key benefits, such as free setup and an open term contract. That is why when choosing the best plan, it all comes down to your bandwidth and speed requirements.
1. Connection Speed and Monthly Pricing:
2. Flexibility:
3. Set-Up Charges:
4. Monthly Costs:
5. Additional perks:
1. Connection Speed and Monthly Pricing:
- If, like most people, you're looking for a specific speed, data limit or have a fixed budget, we suggest reviewing our broadband comparison. This trusted list outlines our top providers and is grouped by unlimited fibre, open plans, capped broadband, 4G/5G and gamer-focused plans. We shortlist the best plans that deliver fast speeds, low (or zero) setup costs, great support, flexible terms and competitive monthly costs.
2. Flexibility:
- One of the things we liked the most about Voyager is their great flexibility, their plans are open term, there are no fixed term contracts.
- Voyager offers all its customers free set up.
3. Set-Up Charges:
- As mentioned above, another competitive advantage of Voyager is that it does not charge any standard installation fees. However, notice that you may have to pay non-standard setup fees if your house requires a special installation.
- Voyager does not offer a free modem in any of their plans, so you will either have to rent one directly from them, buy one, or bring your own. No doubt this is an additional cost you will have to consider when making your decision.
4. Monthly Costs:
- Of the three plans offered by Voyager, we are inclined to choose the Fibre Broadband as the most cost-effective. This is assuming you are willing to bring your own modem. If you want more speed, a good alternative is the FibreMax Plan.
- We suggest reviewing our broadband comparison to see how Voyager plans compare with our trusted shortlist of best providers.
5. Additional perks:
- Voyager currently does not offer any extra value, aside from the free set up fees.
